Rivonia B&B - Johannesburg

Every thing about the B&B was excellent. In particular I found the gardens to be a bird haven of note. sitting by the pool watching the birds feed was extremely relaxing. breakfast was defiantly worth getting up for even thought the bed was trying to hold me in due to its comfort. As a package it was way better than any hotel I have stayed in! irrespective of price.

Particularly friendly host. He let us check in at 11am and check out at 17pm the following day, whereas most hotels are quite strict about check-in and check-out times. He also let us stay in a superior room although e paid for a standard room. Nice and safe neighbourhood, nicely decorated rooms, lovely garden.

The staff are wondeful. Very efficient, and always willing to help but not intrusive. The breakfast has a great selection to choose from, and everything was delicious. Well done to Fillitah and staff

Amazing place to stay...could not wait to get back to Rivonia b&b after a long day in th city running around trying to organise my daughters wedding.. I was upgraded to a luxury suite when I experienced a poor signal for wi-fi connection. Breakfasts were fantastic....staff called everyone by their names....rooms were spotlessly clean...Thank you tp Pretty for ensuring my room was always cleaned quickly .....even cleaning around me when I was on the computer....Location is awesome... So close to everything and yet far enough to feel like I was living in the bush...Woke to the sound of the guinea fowls every morning... Delightful!!! Would recomend to all my family and friends and will definately stay there again if ever I am in Johannesburg ... Well done to Staff and Management of Rivonia Bed and Breakfast!!!!

Excellent room, very friendly/helpful staff, excellent facilities overall.

Rather difficult to find, amidst all the high-security walls and blocked- off streets in this very nice suburb of Joburg.

We chose this hotel for it’s close proximity to Sandton’s amenities. The service was outstanding and very helpful, they went out of their way to assist my wife who was not well. The room was comfortable with a pleasing décor. The breakfast was scrumptious. We thank them for their kindness and can highly recommend Rivonia Bed & Breakfast.

Nice, quiet location, rooms very comfortable, superb breakfast and wonderful staff. I booked two rooms and mentioned we were actually two adults + two young sons. Upon arrival we were given two adjoining s/c units - great!

Double bed was quite short.

Rivonia Bed and Breakfast entirely exceeded my expectations, from the minute I walked in the reception and they welcomed me by name. I had a late flight on the last day of my visit and they let me stay in the room. The breakfast was wonderful--with daily specials, and the rooms and facilities combine a sense of home with luxury... This was truly one of the best hotel values I have ever come across and I recommend it highly.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the staff were nice. The breakfast was good. Security was also good.

Locating the address posed problems both for me and my visitors.

The self-catering rooms were absolutely beautiful and a very good size. It is a lovely maintained B & B all around with nice gardens and probably the best part was the best breakfast I've ever tasted, with the unbelievable range of foods & juices. I certainly recommend this place if you don't mind being a short car ride away from shops & other places of interest as it is located inside a security guarded suburban area. Overall service was decent, not fabulous nor poor.
